My personal experience in Yossi's lab is very positive. He is an excellent scientist seeking to lead research that will have a meaningful impact in the world. Yossi has a lot of inspiration and always looking to expand to new avenues in the field. He gives a lot of freedom and support ideas coming from students. Moreover, Yossi is always available to answer from the simplest to the most complex questions at any time which I think is a great quality as a PI.
I have a great communication with him which helps a lot for solving all sorts of problems that can emerge during the long path to a PhD.
Social wise, the lab is a real melting pot from different cultures and religions. It is a fun and joyful lab and I really enjoy spending time there.

I came to know Prof Buganim early since my first year in Medical School. When he was unique and asked all students to focus on deep learning and understanding science, not just to summarize and memorize it. This quality is the mainstream among many others in his lab.
